Reasonable Adjustments
Please let Wild Workforce CIC know if any adjustments can be made to enable you to participate in a service or workshop offered by Wild Workforce CIC.
Green Health workshops
By taking part in a workshop activity you acknowledge/accept that you are over 16 years of age. If under 16 years of age the appropriate consents will be obtained. If you have a medical or mental health concern/problem or health-related question you will consult with your GP before participating. If you are/think you may be pregnant please let Wild Workforce CIC know in advance of any workshops.
It is important that you listen to your own body and only take part in the workshop activities you feel comfortable with and are within your capability. You must make the workshop leader aware of any medical or mental health conditions or injuries which might affect participation. If at any time you have a question, feel unsafe or unwell you must inform the workshop leader immediately and discontinue further participation in the workshop.
The information, advice and workshop activities are not intended to be a substitute for mental health or medical counselling/advice. The workshops are not therapeutic interventions. They are designed to inform and develop tools using a variety of learning methods. Participation in some activities outdoors usually involves potential risk of injury. By booking, you confirm that you are in good health and are able to take part in workshop activities and take full responsibility for your own health and wellbeing and agree that any instructions received will be used at your own risk. You confirm you have disclosed any relevant medical information and understand that you are participating at your own risk.
Photography and video consent
By booking you may be asked to give your verbal consent to be videotaped, audio recorded and/or photographed during the workshops, and grant the workshop leader the right to own, use and modify the images and/or recordings for any purpose, including advertisements, marketing, and commercial purposes and in all forms of media, without any compensation (including royalties) in perpetuity. By giving verbal consent you waive any right to inspect or approve any images or recordings and waive any rights of ownership to the same.
Covid 19
Covid-safety: We ask that participants follow the Scottish Government Guidelines on coronavirus including, if appropriate, taking a lateral flow test on the day of the workshop and not attending if you have a positive test or symptoms. We will keep government guidance under review and appropriate safety measures will be in place depending on the guidance at the time.
Standards of behaviour
All workshop participants must act in an appropriate, acceptable way adopting the principles of dignity, inclusion and respect. Any personal information shared within a workshop should be treated as confidential and must not be disclosed out with the workshop. Any unprofessional or disrespectful behaviour will result in the participant being asked to leave. If a participant is attending as an employee then their employers HR policies will also apply.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation by participants is permitted up to 72 hours before a workshop for a workshop credit which will enable you to re-book on a workshop within 12 months of the date of the original workshop. Alternatively you can “gift” your workshop place to a colleague of the same employer. If you need to cancel within 72 hours of a workshop then you are entitled to “gift” your workshop place to a colleague of the same employer enabling them to attend in your place. Unfortunately no refund will be able to be given if you cancel within 72 hours and you are not able to “gift” your place to a colleague of the same employer. In all cases please email clare@wildworkforce.com asap so arrangements can be made.
Wild Workforce CIC will only cancel workshops in the event of illness of a workshop leader or in adverse weather conditions (very high winds). Workshops will not be cancelled solely due to poor weather, rain or snow or low number of workshop participants. In the event of cancellation by Wild Workforce CIC a full refund or change of date will be offered to all participants.
