Practical Tools for Managers, Teams and Employees

These unique and inspiring workshops take place in the beautiful grounds of Falkland Estate, Falkland, Fife. The workshops aim to develop skills using practical tools to support mental health at work including: talking and listening skills, accessing nature, mindfulness, breathing practice and movement. A range of learning methods are used and the engaging outdoor learning environment supports effective learning outcomes.

WELLBEING WORKSHOPS –  

Practical tools for managers

(4 hours CPD + 1 hour self-directed learning) (Max 4 participants) 

LEARNING OUTCOMES: Participants will gain:

Greater understanding of the dimensions of wellbeing, the mental health continuum, mental health stigma, stress at work, resilience, a managers role and responsibilities and tools and resources to support wellbeing at work.

Greater confidence, knowledge and skills to support own and others wellbeing at work using a variety of tools including: talking and listening skills, accessing nature, mindfulness, breathing practice and movement.

Greater emotional intelligence, reflection and experience of wellbeing using a variety of tools including talking and listening skills, accessing nature, mindfulness, breathing practice and movement.

 

WHERE: Meet at 9.30am at the Stables Café, Falkland Estate in Falkland, KY15 7AF. Free Parking. (See www.falklandestate.co.uk) Note location is NOT at Pillars of Hercules.

WHEN: 9.30am – 1.30pm Tuesdays

FOR WHOM: Managers and Team Leaders (Max 4 participants)

COST: £160 per participant

INCLUDED: Morning coffee / tea, lunch in Courtyard Café (GF and vegetarian options), Workplace Wellbeing Resources pack.

BRING: Warm waterproof outdoor clothing, waterproof trousers (if you have them), outdoor footwear, bottle of water, any medications. NB Covered spaces available in adverse weather.

ABILITY: Participants should be able to spend 3 hours outdoors (in all weather!) and walk approx. 3k (with breaks) along rough paths with some steps. Please contact me if adjustments need to be considered to support your participation.

ACTIVITIES INCLUDE: assessing risk outdoors, wellbeing learning activities, breathing and mindfulness techniques, movement and games outdoors, sense and body awareness.
